How to preserve our Tomorrow in Architecture?

3deluxe featured in book about "sustainable buildings" & "environmental awareness in architecture"

BERLIN. GERMANYWe are pleased to announce that 3deluxe has just been featured in the book "Environmental Awareness in Architecture ". The publication contains projects by architects who deal with the consequences of their actions, such as B.I.G. Architekotoniks, Studio Lotus, Renzo Piano, Cobe ....and 3deluxe :) Many thanks to the author Dorian Lucas for choosing us and our smart zero-energy building "FC Campus "*! This shows: We are on the right track!

Making cities and communities more sustainable remains a growing area of tension that 3deluxe has been incorporating into its projects for years. This week, the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were discussed again in New York at the SDG Summit 2023. Since 2015, these goals have been THE compass for transformative global action until 2030. One of the UN demands (11th goal) is: "Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable." 2023 is already halfway point for the agenda, but the interim results are not nearly satisfactory - politicians and society are calling for an ever more effective, accelerated action plan! A reason for 3deluxe to follow the new building codes and consistently work on even smarter architectural solutions for the new "urban millennium" that reflect progress in this regard.

3deluxe has built up a lot of knowledge and is learning every day how to use nature not only as a "useful resource" but to "treat it like a partner", as Head of UN Environment Program Inger Andersen just called for these days. 3deluxe is all the more proud that another project of ours is now being published in exactly this context!

*FC Campus is a zero-emission prototype for future cities whose ecological aspects are presented in the book, e.g.: dynamic eyerise licrivision liquid crystal technology and costum made bird protection printing, PV System or ceilings fed by geothermal energy. Thank you Merck Group and eyrise® B.V.  for making FC Campus  possible!
